The U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms (SAA) organization is responsible for all Senate computers and technology support, recording and photographic services, printing and graphics services, and telecommunications services. To be considered for employment, all applicants must submit the following:

  • All applicants must complete the SAA online employment application and upload a current resume/cover letter.
  • When/if positions are announced, the SAA online employment application will be linked to each vacancy announcement. This method will be used for all job postings . Paper applications will NOT be accepted.
  • If applicable, an Application for Veterans’ Preference should be uploaded online with the SAA online employment application along with the required supporting documentation.

SAA Internship Program

The U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms Internship Program are structured paid positions to challenge and reward a select number of students to work at the SAA. The goal of the program is to allow students to gain an outstanding educational and professional experience within various SAA business units.
